THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...REDWOOD

AT 200 AM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR NEAR
MARSHALL IN EASTERN LYON AND WESTERN REDWOOD COUNTIES
OF SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA.  MOVEMENT OF THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS
THE EASTSOUTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.  CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS
WARNING  ARE MILROY...WALNUT GROVE...AND REDWOOD FALLS.  GOLFBALL
SIZED HAIL WAS REPORTED FROM THIS STORM AT MARSHALL SHORTLY
BEFORE 2 AM.

REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE
HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN
AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE
WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT A.ND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF
SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
