THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL MINNESOTA...SOUTHERN LAC QUI PARLE..YELLOW
MEDICINE..POPE..SWIFT.AND CHIPPEWA..INCLUDING THE CITIES OF
BENSON..MADISON..GLENWOOD..MONTEVIDEO AND GRANITE FALLS.

AT 220 AM RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS ADVANCING
SOUTHEAST AT 55 MPH. AT 220 AM CDT THE LINE EXTENDED FROM WESTERN
POPE COUNTY SOUTHWEST TO YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY.

LARGE HAIL..DAMGEROUS LIGHTINING..HEAVY RAINFALL..AND DAMAGING WINDS
CAN BE EXPECTED FROM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. 

REMEMBER THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH
LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOK OUT.
