The eruption of Mount Semeru had an impact on five villages in four sub-districts: Sumberurip Village in Pronojiwo District, Sumbersari Village in Rowokangkung District, Sumberwuluh Village and Penanggal Village in Candipuro District and Pasirian Village in Pasirian District. The Center for Control and Operations of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) noted that 29 livestock died, 71 hectares of agricultural land were affected, 2 units of bridges were affected, 3 kilometers of roads were affected, 1 educational facility was affected and 4 places of worship were affected.
