- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Tennessee, January 24 to 27, 2026A major winter storm system impacted the State of Tennessee starting late Friday, January 23 and continuing into Sunday, January 25, 2026. Cold air moved into Tennessee Friday evening, setting the stage for winter weather through the weekend.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Tennessee, February 16 to 17, 2015A winter storm tracked through area on the 16-17th with the atmosphere favorable for both heavy snow and ice accretion. The highest peaks had up to 6 inches of snow while ice accumulations had up to an inch. In addition, cold weather accounted for 3 deaths.
- Ice Storm and Winter Weather in Tennessee, January 26 to 28, 2009The combination of abundant moisture, a low pressure system moving through the region, and cold air at the surface caused an ice storm to occur over Northwest Tennessee. Most of the precipitation fell in the form of freezing rain.

Snow and some sleet began during the late morning and early afternoon depositing one half to one and one half inches of snowfall.

- Ice Storm in Tennessee, December 23 to 24, 1998An ice storm moved into west Tennessee. Many counties in West Tennessee saw ice accumulation of between 1/4" and 1/2" with up to 2 inches of ice accumulation reported in Fayette county. A few trees were knocked down because of the ice.
