Newspaper reported that two warming stations had to be opened to assist the 1,200 people without power and anyone who was dependent on medical equipment was directed to local hospitals for assistance. A few shallow rooted trees were reported down along with several power lines arcing in Lawrenceburg also.

Newspaper reported that in the Big Swan Area of western Lewis County, that so many trees were down in that area that the Lewis County Road Supervisor had to hire a contractor to help in the clearing. Meriwether Lewis Cooperative reported that at least 200 homes lost power for a few hours across the county due to ice accumulations on power lines also.

A newspaper reported that ice accumulations occurred on trees and power lines in Manchester. A newspaper also reported that snow changed to sleet around 2 PM, then sleet changed to freezing rain around 3:45 PM. As a result, multiple roads across the county became slick, causing hazardous driving conditions and several car accidents. Details on any damage amounts or injuries associated with these accidents were unknown.

Newspaper reported that county emergency management officials had determined that an ice covered tree killed a women when the weight of ice on tree limbs above the women's bedroom caused the tree to collapse into the family trailer and land on her. Newspaper also reported that Columbia Power and Water System reported that about 800 customers lost power near Tom J. Hitch Parkway in Columbia.
