The road that goes up to Bon Air Mountain was iced over, with an estimated ice accumulation depth of around one eighth of an inch. A newspaper also reported that two women were injured in a one-vehicle crash on McMinnville Highway, just east of Preston Heights Cemetery Road in the southwestern portion of White County due to icy road conditions. Both occupants were transported to White County Community Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. What the exact injuries where and any damage to the one vehicle involved in the crash were unknown.
