- Tornadoes and Flood in Michigan, June 8 to 10, 2008NWS storm survey teams determined that one EF1 tornado struck Osceola county. Another EF1 tornado struck Eaton county and continued into extreme western Ingham county before dissipating. Extensive damage was documented in association with both tornadoes.
- Flood and Lake-Effect Snow in Michigan, December 29 to 31, 2017An upper disturbance moving across the region generated moderate to heavy lake enhanced snow downwind of Lake Superior in a north to northwest wind flow from the 29th into the 31st.
- Flood in Michigan, February 10 to 13, 2001The River Raisin at Dundee crested at flood stage of 650 feet at 1 am on the 13th. Further downstream, the River Raisin at Monroe rose above flood stage of 9 feet at 7 pm on the 10th.
- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Michigan, June 25 to 26, 2021After several weeks of moderate to severe drought conditions in Southeast Michigan, an active weather pattern brought widespread rainfall and flooding to Metro Detroit and surrounding areas during the weekend of June 25-27th.

This event was caused by a strengthening low pressure system moving over the area, focusing the tropical moisture which came up from the south.
- Tornadoes and Flood in Michigan, October 6, 1998Low topped convection produced a tornados and wet microburst along with training bands of heavy rain with minor urban flooding. The severe storms formed along a warm front which lifted through the region. The atmosphere was characterized by low CAPE and high helicity.

- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Michigan, August 23 to 24, 2023Thunderstorms producing torrential rainfall led to flooding in the Detroit metro area early Thursday morning (August 24th). Western Wayne county into Monroe county was hardest hit resulting in widespread residential flooding, road closures, and stranded vehicles.

- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Michigan, June 22 to 28, 2017Warm, moist tropical air during the day on Thursday helped to spark severe storms that began to develop during the late afternoon hours. These storms continued through the evening before the severe threat switched over to a flooding threat during the overnight hours.
- Flood in Michigan, June 23 to 24, 2017Several rounds of torrential rainfall resulted in major flooding in portions of Isabella county, where some locations received close to seven inches of rain. The flooding resulted in over 90 million dollars worth of damage to homes, roads and bridges in Isabella county.
- Flooding in Michigan, May 21 to 23, 2004The biggest and longest duration flooding event in the past ten to twenty years occurred across southwestern and south central lower Michigan from May 20th through the third of June. Flooding in mid May resulted in very high river levels and the ground was saturated on the 20th.
- Flooding in Michigan, April 12 to 25, 2023Rapid melting of much above normal snowpack caused widespread, and at times, extensive flooding over portions of west and central Upper Michigan from the 12th into the 25th.
- Flash Flood and Flood in Michigan, May 1, 2019Heavy rain with thunderstorms produced 2 to 4 inches of rain in about a 4 hour window across the I-94 corridor. This amount of rain in a short period caused flash flooding across parts of Wayne County, with the Dearborn Heights area being hardest hit.
- Flooding in Michigan, November 1 to 30, 2019Widespread lakeshore flooding from record high water levels of the Great Lakes and periodic strong onshore flow occurred from late April 2019 to November 2019. Extensive erosion and property damage occurred, with monetary values in the millions.
- Flash Flood and Flooding in Michigan, May 18 to 22, 2020A very slow moving low pressure system advanced east from the central Plains. Unusually deep moisture was pushed northward into the Great Lakes region, ahead of this low. Multiple rounds of heavy rain fell in parts of northern lower Michigan on the 17th and 18th.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Michigan, May 3 to 4, 2012A few severe storms developed, mainly north of M-59 during the late afternoon and evening hours. Training of showers and thunderstorms then dumped half a foot of rain on the Flint area, stranding cars on roadways and forcing the boat evacuation of some residents.
- Flooding in Michigan, April 12 to 20, 2002The record setting snowfall in February and March set the stage for flooding in April. During February and March of 2002, north-central and western parts of Upper Michigan received over 100 inches of snowfall. The snow pack held over 11 inches of water.
- Flooding in Michigan, May 18, 2020Significant rainfall fell across all of Lower Michigan on May 17 and 18 with many locations in Southwest Lower Michigan reporting over 3 inches of rain. This was the culmination of an already wet week that had experienced three separate episodes of heavy rain.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Michigan, June 21 to 22, 2011A warm front moved north across southern and central lower Michigan during the day of June 21st, allowing a much warmer and very humid airmass to advect into the area.
- Flood in Michigan, May 15 to 20, 2003When the Mother's Day storm runoff from the Huron Mountains overwhelmed a dike holding back Silver Lake in northwest Marquette County, a wave of water inundated the Dead River basin all the way to Lake Superior in Marquette.
