- Blizzard and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, February 8 to 10, 2013An historic winter storm deposited tremendous amounts of snow over all of southern New England, mainly from the mid-afternoon on Friday, February 8 and lasting into the daylight hours of Saturday, February 9.
- Blizzard and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, March 26, 2014A large ocean storm intensified very quickly off the east coast of the United States. This storm brought extremely strong winds (gusting to over 80 mph) and heavy snow to the Cape and Islands.
- Blizzard and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, January 26 to 28, 2015An historic winter storm brought heavy snow to southern New England with blizzard conditions to much of Rhode Island and eastern Massachusetts, beginning during the day on Monday, January 26 and lasting into the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 27.
- Debris Flow and Flooding in Massachusetts, March 13 to 21, 2010A stacked low pressure system (surface low and upper level low on top of each other) moved southeast of Nantucket, spreading rain across Southern New England. This resulted in widespread rainfall totals of three to six inches.
- Winter Storm and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, March 2 to 4, 2018Low pressure moving out of the Ohio Valley passed south of Southern New England on the 2nd and moved out to sea on the 3rd.
- Flooding and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, October 29 to 30, 2012Sandy, a hybrid storm with both tropical and extra-tropical characteristics, brought high winds and coastal flooding to southern New England.
- Flood and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, December 18, 2023A strong storm system moved up the Atlantic coast Sunday night into Monday, merging with a short wave trough exiting the northern Great Plains and taking the surface low west of southern New England.
- Flooding and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, April 15 to 21, 2007An unusually strong and slow moving coastal storm for mid April tracked to western Long Island Sound on April 16th before weakening slowly and drifting offshore.
- Coastal Flood and Heavy Snow in Massachusetts, October 29 to 30, 2011A rare and historic October Nor'easter brought very heavy snow to portions of southern New England on Saturday October 29. Low pressure tracked northeast from the North Carolina coast Saturday morning, rapidly strengthening as it passed well south of Nantucket Saturday evening.
- Coastal Flood and High Wind in Massachusetts, October 26 to 27, 2021A low pressure nor'easter underwent bombogenesis as it developed east of Nantucket on the 26th. It then moved west toward Nantucket Sound, before heading eastward again back out to sea on the 27th. Winds gusted to 60-90+ mph.
- Coastal Flood and Heavy Snow in Massachusetts, March 7 to 9, 2013This storm brought heavy snow and significant coastal flooding to the forecast area. This was an unusual synoptic set-up, with low pressure lingering off the coast of southern New England for several days.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Massachusetts, October 22 to 23, 2014Low pressure moving up the east coast brought a soaking rain and strong winds to much of southern New England. The strongest winds were along the east coast of Massachusetts where many trees were still fully leaved.
- Winter Storm and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, January 4, 2018Low pressure moved north from the Florida coast and deepened, passing southeast of Nantucket on Thursday January 4. The storm reached its lowest pressure and strongest pressure gradient as it passed Southern New England.
- Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, December 27, 2010Moderate to major coastal flooding affected the eastern Massachusetts coast during the early morning high tide. For some locations, especially near Hull and Scituate, this was the worst coastal flooding experienced since December, 1992.
- Flooding and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, October 28, 2006Low pressure intensified rapidly as it tracked from the mid Atlantic states into New England.
- Coastal Flood and Heavy Snow in Massachusetts, February 25 to 27, 2010Low pressure centered over Martha's Vineyard brought strong northeast winds onshore into northeastern Massachusetts. Sustained wind speeds ranged from about 30 mph on the Cape (nearest to the center of the storm) to 45 mph along the northeast coast of Massachusetts.
- Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, June 4 to 5, 2012High spring astronomical tides combined with low pressure off the east coast of Massachusetts to produce coastal flooding. This unseasonable coastal low pressure contributed to the flooding lasting through multiple tide cycles.
- Coastal Flood and High Wind in Massachusetts, November 2, 2014An intensifying coastal low pressure system moved up the coast from North Carolina, crossing the benchmark (40 N/70 W) southeast of Nantucket.
- Flooding and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, March 8 to 9, 2008A powerful low pressure system tracked through eastern New York spreading heavy rain and strong winds across Southern New England. Heavy rain coinciding with spring snowmelt contributed to river flooding, especially along the Connecticut River.
- Flash Flooding and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, February 23 to 25, 1998The second powerful nor'easter to affect the region in less than a week brought a deluge of rain to southeastern Massachusetts, gale force winds along the coast, and coastal flooding to Chatham on Cape Cod and to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
- Flooding and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, December 23, 2022Low pressure deepened rapidly as it tracked through the eastern Great Lakes.|The storm produced damaging southeast to south winds across much of southern New England and minor to moderate coastal flooding the east and south coasts.
- Winter Storm and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, February 1 to 2, 2021A mid level trough over the Appalachians produced a secondary surface low pressure near the mid-Atlantic coast. High pressure over Hudson Bay allowed low level cold air to stay in place initially.
- Winter Storm and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, March 7 to 8, 2018A coastal storm moved up from the Carolinas, bringing snow and rain to Southern New England on March 7th and 8th. This was primarily a snow event, but with 1 to 3 inches of rain falling on Southeast Massachusetts.
- Blizzard and Coastal Flood in Massachusetts, January 23 to 24, 2016Low pressure intensified as it moved off the coast of North Carolina and tracked northeastward, passing south of southern New England. This brought accumulating snow to areas south of Interstate 90 in Massachusetts, including Connecticut and Rhode Island.
- Coastal Flood and High Wind in Massachusetts, October 9 to 11, 2019A strong ocean storm well to the south and southeast of Nantucket combined with strong high pressure over the Canadian maritime provinces to create a prolonged period of strong to damaging winds across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
