- Hurricane and Tropical Storm in Florida, October 10, 2018Hurricane Michael started as typical weak October Caribbean tropical system. However, after approximately a week of slow development, the system moved into warm Gulf of Mexico waters and rapidly intensified into a major hurricane as it moved north towards the Florida Panhandle.
- Tornadoes and Tropical Storm in Florida, October 9 to 10, 2024Hurricane Milton moved ashore the west-central Florida coast as a category 3 hurricane on Oct 9 around 1930EST.
- Hurricane and Tornado in Florida, September 27 to 30, 2022After making landfall as a major hurricane in southwest Florida near Cayo Costa, Ian crossed the peninsula and into east central Florida (southern Osceola County) as a Category 1 Hurricane with estimated maximum sustained winds of 75 mph.

- Tornadoes and Tropical Storm in Florida, August 21 to 23, 2008Tropical Storm Fay moved slowly north out of Caribbean Sea, then cut across south and central Florida into the Atlantic Ocean. Fay then slowly curved west and made landfall in the vicinity for Flagler Beach and Daytona Beach on Aug 21st.
- Hurricane and Tropical Storm in Florida, September 25 to 27, 2024Hurricane Helene made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 140 mph and a minimum central pressure of 938 mb (27.70 inches) at about 11:10 PM EDT on Thursday, September 26th, in Taylor County Florida just east of the Aucilla River.
- Hurricane and Tropical Storm in Florida, August 5 to 26, 2024Hurricane Debby made landfall along the Taylor County coast as a Category 1 Hurricane on the morning of Monday August 5th. In addition to storm surge flooding along the FL Big Bend coast, around 12 inches of rainfall lead to widespread flooding in Madison and Taylor counties.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flood in Florida, March 31, 2022The tri-state area was on the eastern edge of a large tornado outbreak that impacted numerous areas of central and south-central Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida panhandle. One EF3 tornado touched down in Washington County, FL, resulting in two fatalities.
- Hurricane and Tropical Storm in Florida, September 15 to 16, 2020Hurricane Sally made landfall in Gulf Shores, AL at 5am on Wednesday, September 16th as a strong Category 2 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 105 mph.

The highest impact across the Florida Panhandle was from a strong tornado that impacted the Pensacola metro. Some flooding was also experienced.

- Flash Flooding and Flood in Florida, May 19 to 24, 2009Historic flooding across eastern Volusia County occurred as a result of nearly a week of heavy rains. The rains began on May 17 as a late season frontal boundary stalled over the region.

- Flash Flood in Florida, August 9, 2003A small area of brief heavy rains of 4 to 6 inches in one hour caused a flash flood in Bradenton between 27th Street and 75th Street. An unidentified man, possibly homeless, misjudged the flooded 18th Avenue Drive West and rode his bicycle into the turbulent waters.
