  morning will track through West Central Texas through this
  morning. A few storms may be strong to severe, with damaging
  winds, large hail, and localized heavy rainfall being the main
  concerns.

- Behind the cold front, gusty north winds and considerably cooler
  temperatures are expected today, with below normal temperatures
  persisting into early next week.

Showers and thunderstorms are currently (as of 2 AM CDT)
developing along the frontal boundary tracking through the Big
Country, with a few wind gust reports coming in at 35 to 50 mph
behind the front. Wind Advisory remains in place through 1 PM
today for the strong pre and post frontal winds. Some storms that
develop along this front may become severe, with damaging winds,
localized heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning being the main
threats, with large hail being possible in a few stronger storms
that develop. Once the the front makes it through West Central
Texas this morning, temperatures will quickly fall behind the
front and high temperatures today will struggle to surpass the mid
60s to low 70s today.

A return to southerly flow may result in a low chance of showers and
a few thunderstorms early next week. Expect cooler temperatures this
weekend and warming back up by the middle to late next week with
highs in the 80s to lower 90s. Also, going with a mainly dry
forecast Wednesday through Friday.

MVFR conditions are developing across the northern terminals
(KABI, KSJT, and KDDB) and spreading south to the southern
terminals over the next few hours, due to the cold front passage
and some ongoing showers and thunderstorms. VFR conditions are
likely to return by this afternoon. Expect gusty winds and a wind
shift to the north with the cold front passage, 15 to 25 kt with
gusts as high as 40 kts possible. Winds will persist through much
of the TAF package, gradually diminishing later this afternoon
through tonight.
