The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) Road Weather Information System (RWIS) located 1 mile west northwest of the town of Summit recorded a peak wind gust of 60 mph. Additionally, the SDDOT RWIS 6 miles south southwest of Peever recorded a peak wind of 58 mph.
