An Alberta Clipper brought a period of moderate snow during the afternoon and early evening hours of February 6th. This tapered to light snow through the evening. Between 11 PM February 6th and 1 AM February 7th, a potent snow squall moved through along an Arctic Front. This reduced visibilities below one quarter of a mile, wind gusts to 50 mph, and quick accumulations near 1-2 in about 30 minutes. By the time the snow ended, total accumulations of 4 to 7 were observed. Winds gusted to 50 mph through the day of February 7th resulting in significant blowing and drifting of snow. Several roads were reported drifted shut.
