The TWB58 Aquilla Water Supply District Mesonet station measured a 59 mph wind gust at 1:25 AM. These winds occurred underneath the anvil of a decaying thunderstorm.

KINJ measured a 60 mph wind gust at 2:15 AM, and a 62 mph wind gust at 2:35 AM. These winds occurred underneath the anvil of a decaying thunderstorm.

KTRL measured a 63 mph wind gust at 3:24 AM. These winds occurred underneath the anvil of a decaying thunderstorm.

Social media pictures showed damage to the metal roof of a home, and a wall removed from a sheet metal outbuilding in Eastland.

Emergency management reported three feet diameter trees broken at the trunk, two well house buildings destroyed, and a barn door damaged along Teague Road, approximately 7 miles north of Graford.

Emergency management shared images of wind turbine blades destroyed 8 miles southeast of Bryson. The wind turbine was 120 meters above ground level, and its last recorded wind speed was 109 mph.

Social media reported substantial tree and roof damage to a home near Graford.

The 1130W Mesonet station southwest of Northlake measured a 63 mph wind gust. These winds occurred underneath the anvil of a decaying thunderstorm.

Emergency manager reported a power pole snapped at the base along FM 1156.

A 59 mph wind gust was measured by the Mineral Wells ASOS.

Emergency manager reported that the roof was ripped off the second story of a home on CR 1742. Power line damage was also reported on CR 1742.

Widespread damaging straight-line winds occurred across much of Wise County during the predawn hours of March 4th, 2025. Within this broad wind field, a NWS WFO Fort Worth survey team identified a relatively short track tornado north of the Cottondale community. This tornado formed near the intersection of FM 2123 and FM 3552, where a wood frame residence lost much of its roof and internal rafters. The peak intensity of the tornado was determined from the damage at this residence, with EF-1 intensity winds estimated around 110 mph. The tornado impacted two outbuildings nearby, producing EF-0 roof damage. The tornado moved eastward, roughly paralleling County Road 3470 for at least two miles. Along this path, many larger hardwood trees exhibited limb damage, and a few outbuildings, frame residences, and manufactured homes also exhibited mostly high end EF-0 and low end EF-1 roof and fascia damage. The tornado dissipated near the intersection of County Road 3470 and School House Road.

Amateur radio operator reported a 66 mph wind gust measured in Poolville.

Emergency manager reported that the Senior Center in Springtown suffered damage from an estimated 85 mph winds. These winds lifted the carport awning off the front of the building and peeled the attached metal and wood paneling roof back at that location. Part of the brick facade was also knocked off on one corner. The wood covering of another covered patio was partially separated from the brick columns. Also in Springtown, a brand new mobile home was also destroyed, but its location could not be confirmed.

Emergency manager reported that the Southwest Regional Dairy Center north of Stephenville suffered thunderstorm wind damage. A large portion of the west facing metal paneled roof was peeled back.

Emergency manager reported downed power poles and significant damage to an RV.

KGYI measured a 63 mph wind gust. These winds occurred underneath the anvil of a decaying thunderstorm.

A 70 mph wind gust was measured on the west side of Decatur.

Trained spotter reported estimated 80 mph winds, along with an uprooted 2 foot tree.

RVs were overturned due to high winds near the 14500 block of White Settlement Rd in Parker County. One woman was injured and taken to the hospital.

A 74 mph wind gust was measured at a CWOP site in western Fort Worth.

Several homes under construction near Eaton High School in Fort Worth collapsed due to strong thunderstorm winds.

KAFW measured a 76 mph wind gust. A member of the public reported that multiple hangars were damaged and several planes blown into each other at Alliance Airport.

The City of Fort Worth responded to 40 fallen tree requests from high winds moving through the city.

Thunderstorm wind damage throughout Haslet consisted of tree and fence damage, and some roof damage.

A semi truck/trailer was blown over on I-35 just north of Gainesville.

Between 5:06 and 5:15 AM, 60 mph wind gusts were measured by the KDTO ASOS.

Intense thunderstorm winds caused an 18 wheeler to roll over on southbound I-35W at Cross Timbers Rd.

Multiple trees were in the road on Cannon Pkwy in Roanoke. Road barriers were also moved into the roadway on eastbound and westbound Highway 114 from Al Slaughter Pkwy to I-35W.

Multiple branches ranging from 4 to 8 inches in diameter were snapped in the Downtown Roanoke area. One tree estimated to be approximately 12 inches in diameter was snapped at the base.

A grain silo was lifted and blown approximately 300 feet into a neighboring yard.

Damage to several homes was reported in Haltom City, including the partial loss of roof decking. Multiple large trees were snapped around 5 feet from the ground, and one tree was uprooted. A damage survey found straight line wind damage consistent with 105 mph winds along Wathall Rd between Field St and 377.

A cinderblock wall was collapsed on a warehouse building, power poles were bent, and a large garage bay door was blown in at a warehouse. A damage survey determined the damage was the result of intense straightline winds around 90 mph.

A billboard was destroyed on the west side of I-35. The Rector Rd exit sign was also laid over, and some downed trees were reported nearby.

Damage was reported at the Tarrant County Precinct 1 Facility near Spinks Airport. A bay door was pushed in, one wall was slightly caved in, broken tree limbs were reported on the property, and one power pole was snapped.

Amateur radio operator reported that a 62 mph wind gust was measured at North East Mall in Hurst.

A damage survey found straight line wind damage consistent with 90 mph winds in Haltom City north of 121 between Moneda St and Minnis Dr. Damage to trees and warehouses was observed including a cinderblock wall collapsed on one warehouse building, power poles were bent, and a large garage bay door was blown in at a warehouse.

Several trees damaged or snapped in the Briaroaks area.

A 72 mph wind gust was reported by the KACT ASOS.

Between 5:20 and 5:29 AM, 60 mph wind gusts were measured at the GKY ASOS.

Tree damage was reported near Green Oaks Blvd and Fielder Rd in north Arlington via social media.

Emergency management reported structural damage to a roof, bent fencing and multiple downed trees in Krugerville.

A public report indicated multiple 6 to 12 inch diameter branches split and trees down near the intersection of Perkins Road and Pleasant Wood Trail.

Between 5:21 and 5:29, the DFW ASOS measured 74 mph wind gusts.

A brief tornado occurred in Irving within a larger area of wind damage. The tornado was verified with radar data after a ground survey was completed. The tornado began near Pecan Drive, south of West Pioneer Dr. Mostly tree damage was observed along this street. One vehicle was damaged due to falling trees. The tornado then impacted the Tree Country Apartments causing EF-1 wind damage to the roof of nearly every apartment building in the complex. Tree and roof damage was also noted next door at the Learning Tree Academy. Across the street, the Irving Police Family Advocacy Center lost half of its roof and the covering off a second story balcony. The tornado tracked east-northeast from here and dissipated between Cedar Drive and North O'Connor Road. Damage to the La Hacienda Apartments was caused by RFD-type winds at the end of the tornado track. Maximum estimated winds were 110 mph at the Tree Country Apartments.

Shingle damage to several homes was observed in Irving along a line from Nimitz High School toward Irving Blvd past Loop 12.

Emergency management reported that partial siding was removed from multiple homes along with partial loss of roof decking in the town of Southmayd. One RV was overturned and sheet metal was also removed from car ports.

An intense microburst, also detected on area radars, caused the failure of an exterior wall containing a loading dock area at a warehouse along Hwy 121 in Lewisville. The failure of the wall resulted in the partial loss and collapse of large roof spans in that part of the warehouse. The winds entered the warehouse at a single point that resulted in additional damage including peeling back a large section of the roof and the failure of a portion of an exterior wall containing a loading dock area. No other damage was observed in this same area aside from the one section of the warehouse.

An overturned 18 wheeler was reported on southbound I-35E at Bear Creek Rd in Glenn Heights due to intense thunderstorm winds. Across the city, trees and power poles were damaged and knocked down, a few of which were blocking roadways. Some business signs were also knocked down. More considerable damage was reported to a small mattress shop on Bear Creek that had a tree fall on its roof, and damaged mobile homes on Happy Bear and also on South Uhl.

An overturned 18 wheeler was reported on westbound PGBT near Marsh Ln due to intense thunderstorm winds.

Emergency management reported large trees damaged or uprooted, and multiple metal roofs damaged, along Clements Road near Collinsville.

Amateur radio operator reported a measured 82 mph wind gust 1 mile southeast of Hebron Pkwy and Josey Ln in Carrollton.

Amateur radio operator reported a 69 mph wind gust in Prosper.

Roof damage was reported at Plano West Senior High.

A steel frame gazebo was blown over and tossed 10 feet off FM 116 in Copperas Cove.

Between 5:34 and 5:41 AM, 63 mph wind gusts were measured at KTKI.

Power pole snapped at Parker Rd and Alma Dr in Plano.

Six downed power poles were reported along northbound Dallas Pkwy near Texas Health Frisco.

Between 5:36 and 5:43 AM, 57 mph wind gusts were measured at the KRBD ASOS.

An mPING report indicated quarter sized hail 5 miles south of Buckingham.

Emergency management reported that multiple homes in the Stone Hill neighborhood in Cedar Hill sustained damage to roofs, fences and street signs.

Much of the roof was blown off a home, another home lost a chimney, an outbuilding was destroyed, and fences and large tree limbs were blown down in the area along Hedgcoxe Rd between Iola Dr and Freeland Dr.

Public reported a 76 mph wind gust north of Plano.

A public report indicated widespread tree damage in Town Lake Park in the city of McKinney. Images included trees both snapped and uprooted.

A social media report indicated damage to a commercial building near the intersection of Kentucky Street and McCauley Street in McKinney.

Emergency manager reported a 60 mph wind gust that was measured at Fire Station 4 in Richardson.

Major roof damage was reported at a large commercial warehouse in the 900 block of S Airport Dr.

Broadcast media reported that a mobile home was destroyed near the intersection of Highway 380 and PR 5461 in McKinney, resulting in two minor injuries.

A pole barn was heavily damaged on CR 697 southeast of Farmersville.

A public report included images of partial loss of roof decking, sporadic tree damage, and a small metal outbuilding destroyed just south of the city of Josephine.

A trained spotter reported nickel sized hail 1 mile southeast of Bells.

Emergency manager reported a 72 mph wind gust in Trenton.

Between 6:06 and 6:15 AM, 80 mph wind gusts were measured at KLHB.

A 61 mph wind gust was measured at Bonham Jones Field AWOS.

Broadcast media reported a 65 mph wind gust in Woodway.

A downed tree fell onto an RV at Bonham State Park.

Emergency management reported multiple homes with shingles missing, fences blown over, a collapsed metal barn building, a missing roof, nearby power lines knocked down, and power poles snapped between the cities of Robinson and Hewitt. Multiple power poles were down along Highway 77 in Robinson, and tree damage was also reported near N Andrews St.

Multiple downed trees were reported in Commerce. The roof was also blown off of a house. Multiple vehicle accidents were also reported in Commerce, including an overturned 18 wheeler.

Uprooted or snapped trees were reported via mPING.

Minor damage occurred to the siding on a home. A flag pole and some tree branches were also snapped.

A shoe store building collapsed at 4th St and High St in Wills Point.

Between 6:39 and 6:42 AM, 59 mph wind gusts were measured at the KCRS ASOS.

Numerous trees were blown down across the county with several roads blocked. Powerlines were also reported down in some areas.

An oak tree fell onto a house in Edgewood.

Damage to trees, carports, and awnings was reported across Rains County.

A 62 mph wind gust was reported by a CWOP site in Blooming Grove.

A survey team found areas of enhanced wind damage northwest of Sulphur Springs in Hopkins County. Most of the observed damage was consistent with wind speeds around 90 mph. The most significant damage was observed at the Cross Spur Arena where the front of a metal structure was uplifted, causing the front of the structure to collapse. This damage was consistent with maximum wind speeds of 95 mph. Significant tree damage was also observed near the Cross Spur Arena and along County Road 4760 and County Road 4763. None of this damage was convergent and generally in an east to north direction. A few additional swaths of notable damage were found along County Road 4759 and County Road 4763 where snapped and uprooted trees were observed along with roof/siding damage at a few homes. A mobile home on County Road 4761 had its roof removed, but all walls remained standing. Review of the damage and all available radar evidence, all suggest the Hopkins County damage was the result of locally enhanced straight-line winds. Most of the more notable damage occurred in areas of notches or bows along the leading edge of the morning storms, which is where locally enhanced winds typically occur that can cause higher-end damage.

A tree was knocked down by thunderstorm winds at FM 315 and CR 312 to the west of Frankston.

A report of broken 3-inch tree limbs or broken power poles was received via mPING near the Lanely community in southern parts of the county.

Social media video showed major wind damage occurred to a solar panel farm near Cunningham.

A report of broken 3-inch tree limbs or broken power poles was received via mPING near the Red Lake community in the southeast part of the county.

The Paris News reported and satellite imagery showed an unoccupied mobile home was rolled a couple times but remained mostly intact.

Social media photos showed a roof completely blown off one home, partial loss of roof decking on another home, and trees snapped on PR 42495 at FM 195.

The Paris News reported on CR 16130 near FM 1503 south of Deport a mobile home with one occupant rolled four times and was completely torn apart with one minor injury.

Tree damage was reported on Highway 164, FM 3371, and S FM 39 in Limestone County.

Several trees were knocked down by thunderstorm winds by a storm that tracked just north of Palestine.

Roof damage was reported in the Elmwood area near ACR 445.

A public report included pictures of a 3-inch diameter hailstone 10 miles northeast of Palestine. Two other hailstones in the photo appeared to be golf ball sized.

A trained spotter reported 2 to 3 inches of water on side roads.

SH 294 was closed near the Cherokee County line due to five large downed trees.

KMNZ measured a peak wind gust of 63 mph at 2:23 pm and 3:39 pm. 59 MPH wind gusts were measured at 1:55 PM and 2:35 PM. Sustained wind speeds between 40 to 47 mph occurred from 12:15 pm through 4:15 pm.

KMWL recorded a peak wind gust of 66 mph at 2:53 PM. Occasional 59 mph wind gusts were observed between 12:24 PM and 5:37 PM. A sustained wind speed of 45 mph was measured at 2:25 PM.

Emergency manager reported multiple power poles snapped by the wind in Joshua. Nearby observations at Cleburne showed winds gusting up to 54 mph during the day.

Local official relayed a social media picture of a metal roof torn off of a building in Copperas Cove. The picture was taken around 3:30 PM. Nearby observations at KGRK measured wind gusts between 40 to 52 mph during the afternoon, with the strongest gust around 1:55 PM.

The FW6692 Mesonet station in Lampasas measured a 63 mph wind gust.

KAFW measured a 59 mph gust at 2:11 PM, and a 58 mph gust at 6:50 PM.

Emergency manager reported that the entire awning of a gas station in Groesbeck was blown over at 4:24 PM. Nearby observations at KLXY showed gusts between 43 to 49 mph during the afternoon.

The AW847 Mesonet station in Denton measured a 67 mph wind gust.

KDFW measured a 60 mph wind gust at 2:37 PM. Sustained speeds of 40 mph lasted from 2:29 PM through 2:53 PM.

KSEP measured a 58 mph wind gust at 3:10 PM.

KCRS measured a 58 mph wind gust at 6:21 PM and again at 7:12 PM.

KACT measured a 61 mph wind gust at 6:39 PM.

KDTO measured a 61 mph wind gust at 6:51 PM. A gust up to 59 mph was also observed at 9:35 PM before winds finally decreased.
