A trough lingered over the American Samoa islands on May 24th and May 25th. During this time, WSO Pago Pago recorded 3.27 inches of rain. There were multiple reports of landslides and stream flooding due to this rain combined with the well above average rainfall for the month of May.

An NWS employee reported an overflowing stream, Mulialevai Stream, inside the village of Auto. Pictures show water flowing onto other properties.
A landslide was reported along the road connecting the Masausi and Fagaitua Villages, Route 011, along Maugaoalii/Usi Ridge. Damage is unknown. There were no injuries.
