A peak wind gust of 61 mph was measured at 8:00 AM at the BLM Glendive mesonet site (MTM28).
A peak wind gust of 59 mph was recorded at 8:48 AM at the Jordan Airport AWOS site (KJDN).
Across Sheridan County, intermittent wind speeds of at least 40 mph began mid morning and lasted into the mid afternoon hours on the 5th. The peak wind gust of 60 mph was recorded at 11:30 AM at the Comertown Turn-Off MT-5 DPT site (MTCOM).
A peak wind gust of 61 mph was measured at 11:20 AM at the Glasgow Airport ASOS (KGGW) and at 12:00 PM at the Saint Marie Marco mesonet site (07MT).
A peak wind gust of 59 mph was recorded at 11:30 AM at the Sheep Mountain MT-253 DOT site.
Multiple reports from social media and the public of downed power lines, as well as downed poplar or cottonwood trees. Photos of the damage were submitted on social media. Wind speeds of 60 mph were estimated.
