A storm system pushed through the region to start the month of April. This resulted in a storm total of over 2 inches of rain in some of the mountain ranges and flowing washes. A Swift Water Rescue occurred in the Canada Del Oro Wash near Catalina, AZ.

A swift water rescue occurred on the Canada Del Oro Wash at Wilds Road. A vehicle was driven into the wash and a ensuing swift water rescue was needed. This occurred after a storm total of 1.5 to 3 inches of rain in the 24 hours prior on the Catalina Mountains.
