An initial heavy snow band reached far southwest Wisconsin late on December 8th with a subsequent area of light snow lasting through December 9th from western into central Wisconsin. Most places received around 1 of accumulation through the longer duration event. Highest snowfall reports were 2.8 in Viroqua (Vernon County) and 2.7 in Friendship (Adams County).

An area of light snow and rain moved through Trempealeau County late on December 9th. A single vehicle rollover accident was reported along Wisconsin State Highway 93 with one injury. Nearby automated weather observation stations reported several hours of light snow late into the overnight hours.
