Behind the cold front, blustery west winds off Lake Ontario resulted in lake effect snow beginning later in the evening on November and continuing on December 1.

Behind the cold front, blustery west winds off Lake Ontario resulted in lake effect snow beginning later in the evening on November and continuing on December 1. There were reports of lake effect snows accumulating more than 7 inches which verified our winter storm warnings for Herkimer and Hamilton Counties on December 1. Power outages were reported in Washington, Warren and Herkimer Counties.
