...A BAND OF SNOW SHOWERS WILL AFFECT PARTS OF PERRY...JUNIATA...
HUNTINGDON...MIFFLIN...AND SNYDER COUNTIES...

HAZARDS...A band of snow showers which can rapidly reduce visibility
to less than one mile and slicken roads.

LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 813 PM EST, a band of snow showers was
along a line extending from Richfield to near Spruce Hill to near
Mount Union and moving east at 30 MPH.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
Lewistown, Mount Union, Burnham, Newport, Highland Park, Honey
Grove, New Bloomfield, Yeagertown, Mcalisterville, McClure, Spruce
Hill, Port Trevorton, Strodes Mills, Beaver Springs, Richfield,
Juniata Terrace, Allensville and Mexico.

may lead to accidents.

A secondary cold front produced scattered snow showers that coated the ground on Seven Mountains with around an inch of snow. Resultant slick roads caused a tractor trailer accident that closed the eastbound lanes between Mountain Back Road in Potter Township, Centre County and Stone Creek Road in Armagh Township, Mifflin County for a little under two hours during the evening of November 28, 2021.

A secondary cold front generated snow showers that produced 2 to 3 inches of snow on the ridges of western Somerset County. Resultant slick roads caused a tractor trailer to jackknife on Route 30 near the Somerset/Westmoreland County line and close the road between the base of the mountain in each county for a little under two hours during the evening of November 28, 2021.
