Michigan and central Upper Michigan.

Strong southwest to west winds of 45 to 65 mph are expected late
tonight. These winds may cause some damage and will likely result

Areas of fog are expected to continue into tonight and could be
locally dense, especially over the higher terrain of central Upper

There is a slight chance for thunderstorms tonight.

Strong southwest to west winds of 45 to 55 mph are likely through
Thursday. These winds may cause some damage and will likely
result in some power outages. See the latest High Wind Warning for

Waves on Lake Superior building 10 to 18 feet, and occasionally
as high as 21 feet, will likely lead to beach erosion and
localized lakeshore flooding along the western shoreline of Upper
Michigan on Thursday and east of Munising Thursday night.
