High winds along Highway 395 between Susanville and Doyle caused the overturning of two semis between 0230PST and 0300PST. Power lines were downed due to fallen tree limbs in Susanville.

Strong winds blowing from west to east across June Lake caused very choppy waters on the 15th. Five males (none wearing life jackets) were in a boat which capsized, causing the death of three of the males. Two of the men reached shore and were treated and released. The three victims were found by divers on the morning of the 18th.

A combination of steep terrain (cliff face) and significant rain caused a large rockfall onto Tioga Pass Road (CA 120), causing the shutdown of the road. The time of the rockfall is estimated and based around the time of the heavy rainfall.
