PERIOD...WITH DRY WEATHER EXPECTED. SOUTH WINDS WILL KEEP PLENTY
OF MOISTURE OVER THE REGION...AND WITH WARMING TEMPERATURES...
AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL APPROACH OR EXCEED TRIPLE DIGITS
IN AT LEAST SOUTHERN AND POSSIBLY CENTRAL ARKANSAS THROUGH THE
PERIOD.

UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE ANCHORED OVER THE SOUTH CENTRAL
UNITED STATES NEXT WEEK...WITH ZONAL UPPER FLOW SUPPRESSED WELL TO
THE NORTH OF ARKANSAS. AS A RESULT...TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN WARM
AND PRECIP CHANCES LOW. KEPT RAIN CHANCES SILENT IN THE FORECAST BUT
THERE ARE SOME INDICATIONS THAT MAYBE SOME STRAY THUNDERSTORM
ACTIVITY MAY BE PRESENT ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY OVER PARTS OF
NORTHERN AND NORTHEAST ARKANSAS...BUT THE QPF SIGNAL PRESENT IN THE
MODELS IS PRETTY MODEST SO SUSPECT ANY STORMS WILL BE WIDELY
SCATTERED SO WILL KEEP THE FORECAST DRY FOR THE TIME BEING.
TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 90S MOST PLACES EACH
