Strong winds blew across east central Wisconsin, producing several measured gusts to around 50 mph, as low pressure passed east of the state. The winds associated with the low may have been enhanced by a gravity wave. The strong winds downed numerous trees, branches, and power lines. More than 14,000 customers were without power at the height of the event.

Some of the strongest measured wind gusts included: 53 mph at Austin Straubel International Airport (Brown Co.), 52 mph at Shawano Municipal Airport (Shawano Co.), and 51 mph at Outagamie County Regional Airport.

Strong winds downed numerous trees (especially in about a 10 mile stretch north of Iola), branches, and power lines across Waupaca County. A wind gust of 48 mph was measured at Clintonville Municipal Airport, and a gust to 40 mph was measured at Waupaca Municipal Airport.
