The entire zone remained in Severe(D2) drought through the month of October. The Cooperative Observer at Gila Hot Springs reported 1.56 inches of rain which was 0.08 inches above normal.
Severe(D2) drought continued to be reported for the northern portion of the zone.
The northern and eastern portions of the zone remained in Severe(D2) drought through the month of October. The Redrock Cooperative Observer reported 0.85 inches of precipitation which was 0.18 inches below normal.
