Lightning struck the roof of a house on Bear Creek Loop and started a fire. The fire burned for about two hours and the house was a total loss. A woman inside the single-story dwelling was showering when the lightning struck. She described being jolted across the room by the lightning strike. Medical personnel examined her and stated she was not hurt.
