A storm system moved across eastern Washinton during the night of the 24th and into the morning hours of the 25th. The storm brought a mix of freezing rain and snow to the Waterville Plateau in Douglas county. Ice accumulations of up to 7 inches caused 13 transmission towers on Badger Mountain to become damaged. No power outages were reported because the power was rerouted. Damage estimates were around 250,000 dollars.
