Scattered thunderstorms moved through the Eastern Panhandle during the evening of the 4th. In Hardy County, golf ball sized hail fell in Wardensville. In Berkeley County, dime sized hail fell and a tree was reported down along Interstate 81 near Arden. In Grant County, hail of unknown size fell in Bayard.
