DETAILS TO TODAY. A FRONT EXTENDS FROM COOS COUNTY TO SISKIYOU
COUNTY AND IT WILL MOVE NORTH ACROSS OUR AREA EARLY THIS MORNING.
THIS HAS PRODUCED STRONG GUSTY SOUTH WINDS WITH RAIN PRIMARILY AT THE
COAST...IN THE WEST SIDE MOUNTAINS AND SISKIYOU COUNTY. BEHIND THE
FRONT...LIGHTER RAIN WILL CONTINUE NEAR MT SHASTA AND ALONG THE COAST
THIS AFTERNOON WITH PARTIAL CLEARING ELSEWHERE. MEANWHILE STRONG
SOUTH WINDS WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE COAST...NEAR WEED...IN THE ROGUE
VALLEY AND NEAR SUMMER LAKE.
THE MAIN EVENT IS TONIGHT AS A STRONGER SHORTWAVE MOVES TO CAPE
MENDOCINO AND THEN NORTHEAST ACROSS SISKIYOU AND MODOC COUNTIES. WILL
CONTINUE WINTER STORM WATCH FOR SISKIYOU COUNTY WITH SNOW LEVEL NEAR
6000 FEET...AND POSSIBILITY THAT IT MAY BE CLOSER TO 7000 FEET.
STRONG SOUTH WINDS WILL DIMINISH IN THE EVENING IN THE ROGUE VALLEY
BUT AFTER MIDNIGHT AT THE COAST AND NEAR WEED AND SUMMER LAKE AS
