The combination of a high pressure system building over New England and the Canadian Maritimes and a low pressure system moving northeast along the Middle Atlantic coastal waters produced some isolated tidal flooding the late evening of the 13th and more widespread, but still minor, tidal flooding during the late evening of the 14th. 95 feet above mean lower low water.

The combination of a high pressure system building over New England and the Canadian Maritimes and a low pressure system moving northeast along the Middle Atlantic coastal waters produced some isolated tidal flooding the late evening of the 13th and more widespread, but still minor, tidal flooding during the late evening of the 14th. The high tide on the 14th at Sandy Hook reached 6.97 feet above mean lower low water and at Cape May Harbor reached 6.95 feet above mean lower low water. Minor tidal flooding begins at 6.7 feet above mean lower low water.
