DAYS 1-2...
MIX OF PRECIP ACROSS CWA AT 08Z. MOSTLY LIGHT SNOW SOUTHEAST OF DDC
BUT A FEW REPORTS OF FZRA. THINK ATMOSPHERE SHOULD COOL ENOUGH TO
ASSURE SNOW FOR TODAY BUT WILL HAVE TO WATCH THAT TO DETERMINE FINAL
FORECAST INFO.

MODELS SEEM TO BE HANDLING WELL THE UPPER SYSTEM THAT WAS OVER
EASTERN WYOMING AT 00Z. SHOULD DROP SOUTH INTO NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO
BY 18Z. SHOWING GOOD DIFLUENT FLOW OVER EASTERN HALF OF CWA.
MOISTURE AVAILABLILITY NOT TOO BAD AND SOUNDINGS SHOW FAVORABLE SNOW
GROWTH REGION. HOWEVER, LIFT DOES NOT APPEAR TO SUPPORT SIGNIFICANT
SNOW ACCUMULATION. THE BEST AREA SHOULD BE OVER SOUTHEAST BUT DO NOT
THINK WE CAN SQUEEZE OUT MORE THAN AN INCH OR TWO BY TONIGHT. WILL
PROBABLY GO WITH CATAGORICAL POPS FOR SOUTHEAST AND TAPER BACK TO
30-50 FOR NORTH AND WEST. WILL BE UNDER CAA AT LOW LEVELS TODAY AND
EXPECT TEMPS TO BE FAIRLY STEADY AROUND 30-35 FOR MOST LOCATIONS.

FOR TONIGHT...GOING TO KEEP LIKELY POPS FOR SOUTHEAST EARLY AND
20-30 POPS TOWARD THE CENTRAL PART OF CWA. UPPER WAVE SHOULD BE EAST
OF AREA BY 06Z WEDNESDAY AND WE SHOULD SEE CLEARING UNDER STRONG
NVA. MODELS AGREE ON LOWER AND MID LEVEL WARMING PRETTY GOOD BY
WEDNESDAY. WILL CERTAINLY WILL STILL HAVE SOME SNOW COVER SO MAY GO
A BIT COOLER THAN GUIDANCE TEMPS FOR WEDNESDAY.
