THE REMNANTS OF ISIDORE...SOMETHING A HYBRID SYSTEM AT THIS
POINT...SHOW UP WELL ON THE WATER VAPOR OVER SRN TN. THE ETA AND AVN
HANDLE THE SYSTEM DIFFERENTLY. THE ETA LIFTS THE MID LEVEL TROF
ALMOST DUE NORTH AND BEGINS TO SHEAR IT OUT...EVEN BY THE 12 UTC.
THE AVN AND RUC BOTH LIFT THE VORT MORE TO THE NE...AND HOLD ON TO A
STRONGER FEATURE. THIS RESULTS IN A TIGHTER LLVL GRADIENT ON THE E
SIDE OF THE SYSTEM ON THE AVN/RUC THAN ON THE ETA.

CHECKING THE ATL VWP...THEY HAVE 55 KT LLVL WINDS ATTM FROM 3KFT AND
UP. THE AVN AND RUC BOTH HAD THIS LEVEL OF WND AT 06 UTC WHILE THE
ETA WAS MORE LIKE 40 KTS. THUS...FROM ALL ACCOUNTS AND
APPEARANCES...A STRONGER...MORE EASTERLY TRACK SHOULD VERIFY.

REPORTS OF TREES AND POWER LINES DOWN HAVE BEEN COMING IN ALL NIGHT
FROM THE MTNS. WNDS HAVE BEEN REPORTED AS MODERATE FOR THE MOST
PART. ITS OBVIOUS THE THE DROUGHT WEAKENED TREES AND WET GROUND ARE
LEADING TO FAR MORE DOWNED TREES THAN USUAL. CONSIDERING THAT THE
STRONGEST WINDS...AND SOME EMBEDDED CONVECTIVE ELEMENTS...ARE STILL
TO MOVE ACROSS THE MTNS...HAVE ISSUED A HIGH WIND WANING FOR MOST OF
THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE NC AND GA MOUNTAINS. CONSIDERING THE
FLOW WL TURN A LITTLE MORE SW TOWARD DAWN...HAVE EXCLUDED ERN MOST
MTNS AND FOOTHILLS (THEY ARE IN AN ADVISORY).

THE NEXT CONCERN IS RAIN. LLVL OMEGA CONTINUES WELL INTO THE LATE
MORNING OVER THE MTNS AND FOOTHILLS...AND WL CONTINUE HIGH POPS.
IFLOWS SHOWS THAT 6 HRLY PCPN AMOUNTS RANGE FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES IN
THE FAVORED AREAS OF THE EASTERN ESCARPMENT. THIS REALLY ISN/T ALL
THAT MUCH FOR THESE AREAS. CONSIDERING THAT THE FLOW VEERS AS THE
MORNING PROGRESSES...DON/T SEE THAT ANYONE...OTHER THAN MAYBE MACON
COUNTY...HAS MUCH OF A FLOOD TREAT.

NO BIG CHANGES TO THE FORECAST BEYOND THE 1ST PERIOD. ETA AND AVN DO
NOT AGREE WELL AT ALL ON POSITION OF FRONT BEHIND ISIDORE..WITH THE
AVN PUSHING IT THROUGH SAT MORNING...AND THE ETA WAITING UNTIL
SUNDAY MORNING. HAVE COMPROMISED DWPT GRIDS TO ACCOUNT FOR A
MIDDLE OF THE ROAD SOLUTION. THIS MEANS GRADUAL DRYING SAT AND SAT
NGHT.

IN EXTENDED RANGE...STALLED FRONT TO S INITIALLY...WITH ATLANTIC
RIDGE SLOWLY RETREATING OFFSHORE. GULF MOISTURE SLOW TO RETURN ON W
SIDE OF RIDGE...KEEPING POPS AT BAY THROUGH DAY 7. NO CHANGES AT
THIS TIME.
