WESTERN UNITED STATES OVER THE NEXT WEEK. THE MAIN IMPACT OF THESE
SYSTEMS WILL BE BREEZY TO WINDY CONDITIONS AND A COOLING TREND.
THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TODAY AND
SATURDAY AND THEN AGAIN STARTING TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK.
.DISCUSSION...A LONG-WAVE TROUGH COVERS MUCH OF THE WESTERN U.S. THIS
MORNING. A SERIES OF VORT MAXES ARE PROGGED TO MOVE ACROSS THE CWA
TODAY AND TONIGHT. MODELS AND AREA SOUNDINGS SHOW PLENTY OF MID LEVEL
MOISTURE TO WORK WITH. FGZ RADAR ATTM SHOWING SCATTERED LIGHT PRECIP
OVER THE SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF THE CWA. WILL UPDATE ZONES TO INCREASE
POPS TODAY AND INCLUDE POPS FOR TONIGHT. STRONG SW FLOW NOTED ALOFT
