Very windy conditions were experienced over areas of northern Arizona during the early morning hours and throughout much of the day. Wind speeds over much of the area were 15 to 30 MPH with many gusts over 40 MPH. The highest gusts were recorded at the Payson RAWS (65 MPH), the Four Springs RAWS (59 MPH) on the Kaibab Plateau, and in Doney Park (57 MPH).
