Heavy snow occurred at Eagle Alaska, where eleven inches of new snow was reported by the Co-op observer there. A weak low had moved east over the area and intensified once it was in Canada. I then brought cold air southward over this area in the northerly winds on the backside of the low. This cold push along with some upslope enhancement of the of airmass produced the snowfall. Much Lighter amounts were reported over the southern part of the zone.
