...A RED FLAG WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR KODIAK ISLAND FOR DRY
AND WINDY CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON...

HIGH PRESSURE TO THE SOUTH OF KODIAK ISLAND AND A LOW TO THE
NORTHEAST OF THE ISLAND ARE COMBINING TO PRODUCE WINDY AND DRY
CONDITIONS FOR KODIAK ISLAND THIS AFTERNOON. MINIMUM RELATIVE
HUMIDITIES EXPECTED TO GET DOWN TO 30 TO 40% THIS AFTERNOON WILL
COMBINE WITH WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 30 MPH WITH LOCALLY
HIGHER GUSTS. HUMIDITIES ARE EXPECTED TO RECOVER THIS EVENING AND
WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH.

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CONDITIONS ARE OCCURRING OR WILL
OCCUR WHICH COULD LEAD TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF LARGE AND DANGEROUS
