DEVELOPING CU FIELD AND CONVECTION ACROSS SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO AND
WEST TEXAS INDICATIVE OF APPROACHING UPPER AIR DISTURBANCE...MOVING
INTO THE NORTHWEST PORTIONS OF THE FORECAST AREA THIS EVENING AND
SPREADING SOUTHWARD THROUGH THE AREA BY LATE TONIGHT. SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE DISTURBANCE...
HOWEVER MAIN AREA OF SEVERITY MAY BE OVER WESTERN ZONES WHERE
THERMAL GRADIENTS BEST.  WEAKER DISTURBANCE SATURDAY WILL PRODUCE
LESS ACTIVITY GIVEN A MIXED..MORE STABLE ATMOSPHERE.  UPPER RIDGE
BEGINS BUILDING SUNDAY ACROSS THE AREA WITH PRECIPITATION CUTTING
OFF...MEMORIAL DAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY LOOKS TO BE DRY WITH THE UPPER
PATTERN CHANGING LITTLE.  ANOTHER UPPER TROUGH TO THE WEST WILL
COUPLE WITH A DIFLUENT RIDGE OVER CENTRAL TEXAS TO BRING ANOTHER
CHANCE OF RAIN TO THE AREA THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.
