AS PREDICTED...SEVERE WX OCCURRED ACROSS THE CWFA LATE THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE BIG QUESTION IS WILL THE CWFA HAVE ANOTHER ROUND OF SEVERE WX TODAY. THE ATMOSPHERE REMAINS MOIST WITH THE MESOETA DEPICTING PWS OF 1.00 TO 1.50 INCHES FOR TODAY. A STRONG UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL ALSO MOVE ACROSS TEXAS TODAY IN THE NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT. EVEN THOUGH THE AIRMASS HAS BEEN WORKED OVER BY THE OVERNIGHT STORMS...SCATTERED CONVECTION IS LIKELY AGAIN TODAY. SEVERE TSTMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER THE WESTERN COUNTIES LATE IN THE AFTERNOON WHERE THE STRONGEST THERMAL GRADIENT WILL OCCUR...DEVELOPING SOUTH AND EAST ALONG OLD OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES AND THE STALLED FRONT.
