RETROGRADING CUT OFF LOW OVER EASTERN US PUSHES BACK BY MIDWAY IN THE PERIOD ALLOWING WEAK DISTURBANCES TO SLIDE OVER THE CWA IN COL AREA IN THE EXTENDED PERIOD. STRONGEST OF THESE APPEARS TO BE AT END OF EXTENDED AND WILL TEND TOWARD CURRENT DRY FORECAST FOR TIME BEING. AS THESE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVE SOUTHEAST... THEY MAY MOVE OVER THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY AND PARTS OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING HOURS. THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS COULD CAUSE BRIEF STRONG GUSTY WINDS AT 25 TO 50 MPH...SOME HAIL...AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN.
