Lightning from a thunderstorm struck two seperate houses within three minutes time in the city of Glens Falls, during the evening of June 23. The first strike destroyed the chimney of a house, which sprayed bricks onto a nearby road. Flames from the second strike travelled along a wire to a house, burning the siding on the exterior of the home.
