AS MENTIONED IN THE 4AM DISCUSSION THE AIR MASS CONTINUES UNSTABLE AND MOISTURE IS PLENTIFUL. ALL THAT IS NEEDED IS SOME LIFTING MECHANISM. AFTERNOON HEATING IS ONE THAT CAN BE RELIED ON. THEN THERE ARE THE STRONG WINDS ALOFT THAT ARE APPARENT FROM THE 12Z SJU RAOB THIS MORNING NEEDED FOR EVACUATION. THE DYNAMICS HOWEVER ARE WEAKER THAN YESTERDAY. THE MEAN WINDS ARE FROM 120 DEGREES AT 15 KNOTS. WITH THIS IN MIND I SEE AFTERNOON CONVECTION TO BE INTENSE AND CONCENTRATED MORE ON THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF THE ISLAND COMPARED TO THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN INTERIOR AS WAS YESTERDAY. BUT WITH THE AIR MASS AS UNSTABLE AS IT IS TODAY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CAN DEVELOP ANYWHERE EVEN OVER THE OCEANS.
