A strong Pacific storm brought high winds to the North and Central Oregon Coastal areas. On the Central Oregon Coast, Newport reported winds to 50 mph with gusts to 68 mph, and Florence reported winds to 62 mph. On the North Oregon Coast, Netarts reported winds of 40 to 50 mph with gusts to 59 mph, and Tillamook reported winds to 46 mph.

BORDERLINE SNOW ADVISORY IS POSSIBLE IN CASCADES PRIMARILY THIS
EVENING.  AS THIS IS STILL IN SECOND PERIOD...WILL WAIT FOR ANOTHER
MODEL RUN BEFORE ISSUING ANY HEADLINES.  ONSHORE FLOW WEAKENS
CONSIDERABLY BY FRI...BUT COLD AIR ALOFT PROVIDES GOOD INSTABILITY
FOR POST FRONTAL SHOWERS.
