AROUND 3-4 INCHES OF SNOW HAVE FALLEN AT BURNS IN SOUTHEAST OREGON. THE LATEST OBSERVATIONS INDICATED THAT THE SNOW WAS STARTING TO LET UP A BIT THERE. WILL CONTINUE THE SNOW ADVISORY FOR ANOTHER HOUR OR TWO THERE. ELSEWHERE, SOUTHWEST IDAHO WAS ON THE FRINGE OF THE SYSTEM DYNAMICS. RADAR SHOWED AN AREA OF SNOW EXTENDING FROM NEAR ONTARIO OREGON SOUTHEASTWARD ALONG THE SNAKE RIVER. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE NORTHWEST AROUND LOW CENTER. EXPECT BOISE TO BE ON THE RAGGED EASTERN EDGE OF LIGHT SNOW AREA. PARENT UPPER LOW WILL BE NEAR WINNEMUCCA BY 12Z. THIS WILL ALLOW A SMALL AMOUNT OF BACKFLOW CLOUDS AND SNOW INTO THE TRIPLE POINT AREA OF ID/NV/OR EARLY SUNDAY MORNING BEFORE SYSTEM MOVES AWAY TO THE SOUTHEAST. UPPER RIDGE WITH DRIER FLOW WILL TAKE OVER BY NOON ON SUNDAY. HAVE ALREADY UPDATED ZONES EARLIER IN THE SHIFT FOR HIGHER POPS AND A SNOW ADVRY.
