MODELS WERE SHOWING A WEAK BOUNDARY AND BAND OF MOISTURE WORKING
SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE CWA OVERNIGHT. SOME WEAK DPVA...OMEGA AND
DIVERGENCE SHOULD ACCOMPANY THE PASSAGE. THIS AREA BECOMING QUITE
UNSTABLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...ESPECIALLY SOUTH
WITH CAPES AROUND 2000 J/KG AND LI'S TO -5. LAPSE RATES BELOW 600 MB
WILL ALSO EXCEED 8 DEGREES/KM OVER MUCH OF THE AREA FOR SEVERAL
HOURS.

SCATTERED CONVECTION ALREADY BEGINNING OVER AND NEAR THE MOUNTAINS
AND THIS WILL SPREAD SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE EVENING. HAVE CONTINUED
THE CHANCE THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT OVER SOUTHERN SECTIONS EVEN THOUGH
SOME STABILIZATION WILL OCCUR AFTER DARK... DUE TO THIS MODEL RUN
SLOWING THE PASSAGE OF THE UPPER DISTURBANCE.

DRIER AIR WILL OVERSPREAD THE CWA ON FRIDAY AS UPPER RIDGING NOSES
IN FROM THE WEST. THIS WILL HOLD THROUGH SATURDAY... BUT WEAK
DISTURBANCES ROUNDING THE UPPER RIDGING WILL BEGIN TO WORK THEIR WAY
BACK INTO THE AREA LATE IN THE WEEKEND.

ANOTHER BOUNDARY WILL DROP INTO THE AREA LATE SUNDAY AND MONDAY WITH
A THIRD COMING IN ABOUT THURSDAY. THIS WILL HELP AID IN DEVELOPING
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS.

...MORE THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS NORTHEAST GEORGIA AND THE
WESTERN CAROLINAS THIS EVENING...

AFTERNOON HEATING AT THE SURFACE AND COOLING IN THE MID LEVELS OF
THE ATMOSPHERE HAVE DESTABILIZED THE AIR OVER THE WESTERN CAROLINAS
AND NORTHEAST GEORGIA.  ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED AND
WILL CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING.

WIDESPREAD ACTIVITY SUCH AS THAT ON WEDNESDAY IS NOT EXPECTED.
HOWEVER...A FEW COULD BECOME SEVERE.  THE LARGER THREAT IS FROM
STRONG...DAMAGING WINDS BUT HAIL IS ALSO POSSIBLE. HEAVY RAIN COULD
CAUSE SOME FLOODING ON ROADWAYS OR LOW-LYING AREAS.

SPOTTER GROUPS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO ACTIVATE QUICKLY THIS EVENING.
DISPATCHERS SHOULD ENSURE COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS ARE
AWARE OF THIS INFORMATION.
