MOVE INTO AREA FOR FRIDAY. HOWEVER...STILL UNSTABLE IN THE AFTN AND
WITH PW'S STILL RATHER HIGH (1.00 INCH) WILL MENTION ISOL AFTN TSTMS.
ANOTHER SURGE OF MOISTURE SLIDES BACK INTO THE AREA ON SATURDAY.
AVN/NGM SHOW QUITE A DIFFERENCE IN FCST HIGH TEMPS ON SATURDAY. WITH
VERY LITTLE AIRMASS CHANGE DECIDED TO GO PERSISTENCE.

EXTENDED FCST SHOWS VERY LITTLE CHANGE TO THIS PATTERN WITH UPPER HIGH
CENTERED OVER 4-CORNERS REGION AND MONSOON FLOW INTO S ID. HAVE BROAD-
BRUSHED FCST WITH CHC POPS AND SEASONABLE TEMPS EACH DAY.

A severe thunderstorms with measured gusts to 69 mph affected the city of Malta in Cassia County. Most of the damage occurred just northeast of the city along Sublett Road. Several small trees were downed, an attached garage was destroyed, approximately 20 power poles were downed, some trees blown across Sublett road, several residential windows and car windows blown out. the strong winds hit between 4 pm and 5 pm MDT. Damage to the electric company alone measured 40,000 dollars.
