2 thunderstorm wind, 1 lightning, 1 hail. Local standard time, as filed.
Lightning struck the 100 year old steeple of a church and destroyed it.
Several trees were blown down around town. One large tree blew down onto a van at an intersection. The front of the van was crushed, and the driver was killed.
Hail of up to golfball size damaged the roofs of a few buildings and cars just north of Kosciusko.
Several trees were blown down in various portions of the county. Several trees fell on the roofs of homes and caused damage. A few roads were blocked by fallen trees.
As the offices recorded each death: direct deaths were caused by the weather itself, indirect ones by something it set in motion.
