MASSIVE HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE CENTERED OVER COLORADO AND RIDGING INTO
NORTHEAST TEXAS PROVIDING SUBSIDENCE PER MOISTURE CHANNEL IMAGERY
OVER THE CENTRAL GULF COAST REGION. STAYED WITH AVN WHICH SEEMS TO
BETTER REFLECT SUBSIDENT CONDITIONS WITH WARMER H8 TEMPS AND HAS
INITIALIZED THE ARKANSAS VORT CENTER FAIRLY WELL.

WENT LOWER THAN GUIDANCE POPS TONIGHT WITH NVA FROM THE NORTHEAST
PUTTING AN EARLY END TO THE SEABREEZE CONVECTION LATE THIS
AFTERNOON. AN UNUSUAL JETSTREAK IN NORTHEASTERLY FLOW AROUND THE
AFOREMENTIONED HIGH PUTS AREA IN FAVORABLE LEFT FRONT QUADRANT ON
FRIDAY. WITH ADDITIONAL MOISTURE ADVECTING FROM THE SOUTHEAST...
WENT HIGHER ON POPS FOR AEX AND LFT. COULD SEE HEAT INDICES
APPROACHING 110F FOR BOTH LOCATIONS WITH ANOTHER DAY OF GOOD
SUBSIDENCE. WILL LET THE NIGHT CREW TAKE ANOTHER LOOK WITH THE
NEXT RUN AND POSSIBLY ISSUE A HEAT ADVISORY. REMAINDER OF THE AREA
WILL SEE STAGNANT AIR WITH HEAT INDICES REACHING 105F...WITH SOME
RELIEF FROM THE SEABREEZE FOR BPT AND LCH KEEPING TEMPS SLIGHTLY
LOWER THAN GUIDANCE. SATURDAY WILL SEE A REPEAT. TEMPS AT AEX AND
LFT SHOULD HOLD JUST BELOW RECORD LEVELS.

...EXTENDED...MASSIVE RIDGE HOLDS SWAY OVER SOUTHERN ROCKIES AND
SOUTHERN PLAINS ON MRF WELL INTO NEXT WEEK. PRECIP CHANCES WILL BE
