Monsoon trough brought heavy rain to parts of the island of Guam. Flooding was experienced near the Guam Waterworks Authority pump station in Upper Tumon, across from the Chief Brodie Elementary School.

Monsoon trough brought heavy rain to parts of the island of Guam. Flooding was experienced near the Guam Waterworks Authority pump station in Upper Tumon, across from the Chief Brodie Elementary School. Water two feet deep near the pump station caused one vehicle to stall at the edge of the flooded area. Between 1000 and 1600 0.87 inches of rain was recorded at the National Weather Service Office in Tiyan.

A MONSOON TROUGH EXTENDS FROM 9N130E EASTWARD TO TD 28W THEN SOUTHEASTWARD TO EQUATOR AND 155E. CONVERGING LOW-LEVEL WINDS NEAR THE TROUGH ARE GENERATING SCATTERED SHOWERS NEAR PALAU...YAP AND CHUUK OR BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND 10N FROM 130E TO 155E. TWO UPPER-LEVEL LOWS ARE MOVING ACROSS THE REGION. THE FIRST ONE IS LOCATED NEAR 15N159E AND THE SECOND IS NEAR 17N175E. THE COMBINATION OF THESE LOWS AND CONVERGING LOW-LEVEL WINDS...IS BRINGING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TO MUCH OF POHNPEI...KOSRAE AND THE MARSHALL ISLANDS BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND 10N AND FROM 155E TO 180. A SHEAR LINE EXTENDS FROM 25N155E TO 15N130E. ISOLATED RAIN SHOWERS CAN BE FOUND ALONG AND UP TO 150 MILES NORTH OF THE SHEAR LINE.
