STRONG COLD FRONT HAS ENTERED THE FAR NORTHERN CWA ABOUT ON SCHEDULE.
ALOFT...SHORT-WAVES AND SPEED MAXES APPROACH FROM THE WEST.  THESE
INTERACTING WITH PWS POOLING TO 1.4 INCHES ALONG AND JUST BEHIND THE
FRONT TO PRODUCE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.  SOME
ISOLATED STORM TOTALS UP TO 1.5 INCHES ESTIMATED.  SO...HAVE ISSUED
FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR THE HILL COUNTRY AND ADJACENT PORTIONS OF
SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS FOR TODAY AS ISOLATED TOTALS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ON
TOP OF VERY SATURATED SOILS WILL LIKELY CAUSE SOME FLASH FLOODING.
ALSO...HAVE NOT EXTENDED DENSE FOG ADVISORY AS VISIBILITIES CONTINUE
TO IMPROVE.  OTHERWISE...ONLY MINOR ADJUSTMENTS MADE ON UPDATE.

Coordinates: 29.832, -99.822 (the zone’s center; the record gives no point)

With soils still soaked from flooding on the 14th and 15th, an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain that fell on the 19th over the southern part of Real County was sufficient to restart flash flooding very briefly. All the rain ended by sunrise and the flash flooding ended shortly afterward. Damage was generally minor and was confined to roads and bridges.
