CURRENT PATTERN WILL PERSIST FOR THE NEXT WEEK. MAIN FEATURES ARE
HIGH PRESSURE OVER WESTERN CANADA AND A BROAD TROUGH IN THE GULF OF
ALASKA. DISTURBANCES ROTATING AROUND THE TROUGH WILL HEAD INTO THE
WESTERN U.S. UNDERNEATH THE HIGH. PERIODS OF DIRTY RIDGING AS HIGH
PRESSURE TEMPORARILY REBUILDS. AS FOR THE SPECIFICS...WILL CONTINUE
WITH WIND ADVISORY FOR SHASTA VALLEY THIS EVENING WITH A RECENT GUST
TO 52 MPH AT WEED. AN OCCLUDED FRONT WILL MOVE INLAND THIS EVENING.
SNOW LEVELS WELL ABOVE THE PASSES WILL FALL TO 5500 FEET BY MIDNIGHT
WHEN PRECIP WILL HAVE DIMINISHED. SNOW LEVELS FOR THE NEXT WEEK LOOK
TO BE 6000 FEET OR HIGHER. NOT MUCH MORE THAN SPRINKLES OR LIGHT
SHOWERS EXPECTED FOR THE ROGUE VALLEY TONIGHT WITH STRONG DOWNSLOPE
FLOW. A DRIER AIR MASS BEHIND THE FRONT WILL MOVE INLAND LATE
