A complex storm system moving up the Ohio Valley on the 13th reformed off the mid Atlantic coast on the morning of the 14th. The storm then moved northeast up the coast the remainder of the 14th and on the 15th.

A complex storm system moving up the Ohio Valley on the 13th reformed off the mid Atlantic coast on the morning of the 14th. The storm then moved northeast up the coast the remainder of the 14th and on the 15th. Snow moved into most of northeast Pennsylvania near the end of the 13th. The snow mixed with sleet and freezing rain early on the 14th before changing to mostly freezing rain around 4 AM. Snow and sleet amounts were up to 3 inches before one quarter to one half inch of freezing rain fell. The freezing rain moved east of the area by 10 AM.
